The High Prairie Municipal
Library Summer Reading
Program
The purpose of running the Summer Reading Program is to encourage children to continure to read during the summer months. Studies haveshown that school-age children lose many of their reading skills overthe summer months if they do not continue to read while they are outof school. The encouragement comes from an enthusiastic library staffwhich becomes a fun time for the children. Children ages 3 to 12 are invited to take part in the program. The programs run on Tuesdays &Thursdays during July and August.
